An email from "Sir Edward Cooper"

I've had a reply from "Sir Edward Cooper" from the "Fundación Donaciones Humanitarias" which I think it's worth quoting in full, without alteration. I have, however, commented in red where i think it's worth it. Here goes.
"I guess the time has come for me to respond to Mr. Richard Harriman, thus I will make my letter to him, short, sweet and to the point. [Which he proceeds not to do.]

For those of you who wish to know, I did indeed speak to Mr. Harriman and conveyed the type of courtesy one does when one first talks to a proper stranger. Though I remained in diplomatic mode control ["diplomatic mode control"?], young Mr. Harriman [I love that bit] who seeks to make a name for himself through the humanitarian process of others, should first and foremost educate himself on a multitude of legalities, including getting a greater grasp on who has the power to officially bestow a Knighthood on those who merit such distinctive recognition. Thus Mr. Harriman, before you start rambling and accusing me of porting a phony title, I suggest that you see this attached website for it will indeed educate you on the legalities and positions as to who has the legal authority to Knight those who merit such distinction. The King and Queen of the Kingdom of Hawaii, have such powers. http://www.regalis.com/malta/knights.htm [There is neither a King nor a Queen of Hawaii, which is one of the 50 United States. You might recall that the USA was formed by a revolution against monarchy? There ARE some rather strange people who claim such a title but nobody actually recognizes them. Quite how the knighthoods awarded by Malta are relevant is beyond me.]

As for calling me a scammer, you are most fortunate that in having spoken to our legal team they said that I should laugh it off. [Very wise, but I don't believe that he HAS a legal team.] They view you as nothing more than a little man [actually I'm 1.85m tall] sitting all alone [No] in the middle [actually the edge] of Botswana attempting no less to blackmail [silly] those who would bring prosperity to the multitude of humanitarian sufferings not only in South Africa, but the rest of the world as well. [Wasn't he ever taught that it's wrong to lie?] By the way I herein include Botswana who thanks to you, will now be place in last place for humanitarian funding. [We'll survive, mainly because he doesn't HAVE any funding.] Thus you may eventually receive a visit from members of the government who will not exactly be too pleased with your intimidation vendetta. [I was with them this morning actually and they seemed perfectly happy but then it's Friday today so who wouldn't be?]

You see Mr. Harriman, I did not respond to your questions for the simple reason that you are a nobody and your accusation that our foundation is scamming people, which I would love to know where the scam is since we give money for needed causes without ever having anyone repay us, is what leads me to believe that you are simply a small time blackmailer who does not deserve my attention. [Another lie. They don't have US$ 800 BILLION to give away. Nobody does. That's more than the entire annual GDP of South Africa. The reason he doesn't respond is that he has no answers.] As to my having an American accent, Well 5 languages and as the son of a diplomat, I was always friends with American diplomatic children. So you speak English. Well done, but then so does the rest of the world. [Really?]

As for the funds we offer, it is obvious that here too your knowledge of banking is limited to just going to a teller for a monetary withdraw or a deposit. [Agreed, I'm not an expert, I've only ever worked with 6 different banks.] You again need to educate yourself Mr. Harriman for had you had the brains to understand the meaning of repatriated funds [I do actually, aren't I clever?], you would not have been so ignorant, for that is indeed one thing that you are.

As per your scammer accusation, like I stated, show me where the scam is. [This is actually true. I don't know yet where the scam is but there are too many unanswered questions for this to be credible.] Thus since you cannot, I herein provide you with a friendly advice. Make sure that what you write next is an apology. [Let me think about that. Errrrrr. The answer is No.] Failure to do so, legal measures will then be taken [Bring it on] and since our foundation has no monetary problems, I suggest that you get a very good attorney [Got one thanks, never needed to use them] to defend you as I believe that the Botswana government will equally want to strongly speak with you regarding changing your tune [Why???].

I am open to disclose where the funds are from for I have no problem with that, but only to those in Botswana who hold top government positions, such as; Pres. Seretse Khama [Unfortunately President Seretse Khama died in 1980, I think he means President Ian Khama Seretse Khama?] or his Vice President, Mompati Merafhe [Correct, well done] or the Minister of Finance & Development Planning Kenneth Matambo. [Congratulations on being able to use Wikipedia.] Persons such as you who appear to be nothing more than independent seekers of bribery and blackmail [No, just the truth], never merit such privileged information.

You have now been responded to Mr Harriman. I advised to cautious as to how you should proceed hence forth. Have a great day Mr. Harriman. [So far so good thanks, I'm looking forward to the weekend.]

Sir Edward Cooper"
So, no answers to the key questions:
  1. Why is there no trace of FDH ever having given money to anyone?
  2. Why is there no trace of anyone called "Sir Edward Cooper" other than this absurd site pretending to be the "Kingdom of Hawaii" where he appears as "Minister of Foreign Relations"?
  3. Why did "Edward" claim initially to have been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, only to change this claim when I suggested it wasn't true?
  4. Why won't he give us any clue where this mythical money comes from?
  5. Why did the potential recipients in the South African Government tell me they just laughed when they saw the letter on behalf of "FDH" and referred it to the law enforcement authorities in South Africa?
  6. Why does he expect anyone to believe that unknown benefactors just give away more money than a country of 50 million can produce?
  7. How long does he think he can keep this lie going?
We'll see.

P.S. In future please refer to me as "Sir Richard", I've decided that if he can do it, so can I. Technically of course I'm now "Rev Dr (Fake) Sir Richard Harriman". So show some respect in future, OK?

Dear Mr Harriman,

I have followed the tit-for-tat exchanges between yourself and the person calling himself Sir Edward Cooper, who represents the humanitarian foundation in question. I have equally read the web site that he submitted referring to knighthood, and therefore include the following paragraph:

"Today the legitimate founts of honour who may bestow knighthood are the lawful heads of existing states, heads of non-reigning royal (sovereign) dynasties recognised at the time of the Congress of Vienna in 1814 (hence the numerous German dynasties but not the many soi-disant "pretenders" to the long-vacant Throne of Constantinople), the Holy See (the Papacy), certain de jure governments in exile, a few Orthodox Christian patriarchs and bishops, and the grand masters of a few historical military-religious orders of chivalry mentioned here (the Order of Malta most notably)".

As for the existence of the true King and Queen of the Kingdom of Hawaii, I am fortunate to have a friend who is from Hawaii (Honolulu) and who through Skype, educated me of the apology bill that the former US President Bill Clinton signed into law. (See US Law 103-150) In it, the United States Government apologises for the illegal takeover of the Kingdom of Hawaii. The bill was signed and supported by the US Congress. His Knighthood is therefore legitimate. As an added point, no Hawaiian nationals, were permitted to vote in the 1959 referendum on US Statehood. Only those who were Americans, consisting mainly of its armed forces and US nationals living in Hawaii at the time, were given the right and therefore voted for Statehood, thus robbing their nation.

As for not having any proof of a scam being planned and or undertaken by the foundation, demonstrates that you are the attacker of sorts and your answers in red does discredit you more than somewhat. You claim that you worked for 6 different banks. Did you get fired from the previous 5???

I admire how Sir Edward Cooper responded to you. It was indeed diplomatic. Having read the website, I would doubt that the foundation having all those people working for them, would not have a legal team by their side. Thus I did one better. I contacted someone that I know at Interpol in Paris. For your information, the foundation does exist as Interpol has been approached before on this issue and according to them, the foundation is legitimate and well respected and have confirmed their monetary capabilities.

On a last point, you refer to Botswana government people as being in a jovial mood because it’s Friday. It’s the tone of your wording that I find demeaning. The people of Botswana may not all be as educated as you, but at least when they attack someone, they do their research first. If for any reason they are placed at the end of the humanitarian line because of your antagonising undoing, I assure you that they do have legal representation in the Botswana government.

If I were you I would quickly withdraw myself from being at the wrong end of the stick. In trying to do your good deed for us Africans, you appear to be doing the opposite which I and others who read your comments, are beginning to see that you have indeed an objective. Blackmail could well be that objective.... Thank you.
