Bridge Medical Research Foundation

In comes a simple advance fee scam from the "Bridge Medical Research Foundation" inviting total strangers to a fully paid conference in Atlanta, Georgia entitled "3rd International Congress for Development and Funding". Well, it's fully paid except the "registration fee of US$ 350".

Their web site is a mixture of text stolen from the William J Clinton Foundation web site which is enough of a clue in itself, don't you think?

The web site says that:
"The Bridge Medical Research Foundation was established in 1990 by Hinger H. Norman, Jr., and is dedicated to supporting innovative, high risk/high impact biomedical research."
Curious that no such person ever existed...

thank God for this public interest information. I don't think the scammers have stopped as I just got one invitation from them for another programme for 19th and 24th Sept 2011.

I currently work in Malawi and my coworkers just received an invite to attend this conference today, July 29th. The scam is still going on so thank you for letting them know!

I have received an invitation for the 4th conference and I could not trace any of their former funded projects. I have told them to waive the registration fee to see how they react to it.

People be careful I received an invitation also but it's for the 21 of May 2012

Thank you all for your information
